World War Two

During World War Two, there were over 405,000 casualties.

The National Archives and Records Administration has made available the data for Prisoners of War, Missing in Action and Killed in Action Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Air Force personal.

The data that is available is from the War Department and from the United States Navy and was compiled in September of 1946.

The information you are about to view is in GIF format. The page number, casualty description by County name and file size of the images are made available.

The data is compiled as is. We do not have intentions of transcribing the data as we feel there is to much information to take any chances of having typos.

Each state will have two tables.

The first table will be for World War Two Casualties for the Air Force & Army and the second table will be for World War Two Casualties for the Coast Guard, Marine Corps & Navy

Mission Statement

POW-MIA-KIA.COM was established with a vision to make known the names of ALL who have died in combat. We wanted you to know the Soldiers for who they were, not just recognized them as a statistic We want to bring you information about the brave men and women who have given their all for freedom's sake.

We are wholly and forever committed to our brothers and sisters in uniform. As veterans, we understand their incredible and noble sacrifices, made of their own accord for a nation they love more than life itself. As family members, we stand by them, and as Americans, we thank God for them.
